This past Monday, the city of Dallas opened its doors to anyone over the age of 16, making them eligible to receive the Covid-19 vaccine.
As such, more and more people are getting vaccinated, which has given rise to a new term for people who incessantly brag about having received their shots: Vaxholes.
According to the NY Daily News, a vaxhole is defined as "one who has been fully vaccinated for the COVID-19 virus and brags about it."
And used in a sentence: "Two weeks after the second shot and that vaxhole is posting selfies from a Cancun bar."
Previously, "vaxhole" has also been used to describe someone who cheat sthe system to get vaccinated before their demographic was eligible.
