Though the Phillies came up short against the Astros in the quest for a World Series, the City of Brotherly Love has something to celebrate after all.

A man named Alexander Tominsky, described as a “bearded man in a white sleeveless shirt,” accomplished a goal he set for himself over a month ago, of eating 40 rotisserie chickens in 40 days!

Tominsky acknowledges that his goal “sounds weird,” but he told 6 ABC that he “felt like I was doing this for a very important reason.”

He posted flyers inviting the entire city to watch him eat his 40th chicken, which he also livestreamed online.

Chants of “Chicken Man” can be heard from the crowd as Tomisnky struggled through those final few bites.

Tominsky endured however, and accomplished his goal.

Believe it or not, Tominsky has zero desire to start another “rotisserie run.”

"I would never consider doing that again," he said.

Though He did divulge that his next meal would be sushi.
