Phil Collins has been engaged in a battle recently with his ex-wife Orianne Cevey.

Collins had been trying to sell the home, which was listed for $40 million and full of "a collection of irreplaceable music memorabilia and other valuables." Cevey has been living in the Miami mansion the former couple used to share, with her NEW husband she married this past August.

And she refused to leave. She even refused to open the doors for a listing agent who wanted the show the property.

But finally, after all these months this nightmare in Collins' life is over, as he was finally able to sell the mansion.

Last October, Cevey agreed to leave the mansion per a partial settlement, after alleging that armed guards hired by Collins roamed the property ensuring its safety.

In exchange for Cevey and her new husband Thomas Bates vacating the property, Collins agreed to drop several charges against the couple, including unlawful detainer and forcible entry. Cevey also alleges that Collins "verbally" promised her half-ownership of the house, and the couple remains in other litigation.
