Raising Cane’s might be all about One Chicken, One Love, but there is no love lost between a Boston location who is trying to have the restaurant evicted.

It’s not over delinquent rent or unruly patrons.  Apparently, this landlord is tired of the chicken smell.

According to Dexerto, the restaurant says that new second-floor office tenants in the property raised concerns about what they described as an “offensive odor,” prompting the landlord to threaten termination of their lease.

The lawsuit continued stating, “Despite these efforts, Defendant continues to complain that its tenant’s chicken-finger restaurant smells like chicken fingers.

“In reality, it appears that Defendant has come to the realization that its own build-out of the second-floor office space was poorly executed.”

The properties landlord offered no comment on the matter.
