Taking the family out to the ballpark can be a wonderful experience only to be mired by the incredible cost.
For a family of four, tickets, food, and drinks can run up to multiples of hundreds of dollars.
Well the Texas Rangers recognize that this can be an issue for many families, and the main reason why many don't venture out to the ballpark. So starting this Friday June 4, fans will now be allowed to bring outside food into the ballpark.
Fans are limited to food that can fit into one gallon-sized bag.
Texas Rangers Executive Vice President of Business Operations Rob Matwick told WFAA, "We are instituting these revised food/beverage and bag policies for the convenience of our guests. These policies are the original ones we planned to have for Globe Life Field at the start of the 2020 baseball season prior to the pandemic."
