Simone Biles is the most decorated gymnast of all time, but has found success on the floor doesn't really translate to success in other areas of life. For example: painting.
During the pandemic, Biles' gym shut down, so like many of us, she tried to occupy her time with various hobbies. However, no matter what interest she tried to pick up, she found she could not attain a level of success that she finds with gymnastics.
She told Bustle, "I tried painting, I tried reading, I tried makeup, I tried this, I tried that, and they weren't my craft — and that's OK. God gave me one thing and said, 'You're going to be really good at it.' I'll take that."
Last week in Fort Worth, Biles won her seventh world title, and claimed the crown as the most decorated gymnast of all time. Soon, she will be off to Tokyo to compete in the upcoming Olympic Games.
