Earlier this month marked the beginning of the Lunar New Year, which marks the beginning of a new year based on the lunisolar calendars.

The most important thing you need to know is it's a time of great celebration across many countries, especially China.

As such, to celebrate the new Lunar New Year, Starbucks in China has added a new item to the menu: pork-flavored coffee.

Yes, you read that right.  Pork, as in pig, flavored coffee.

According to CNN, "eating meat means prosperity in the coming year," which is the reason for the addition.

The drink is called the "Abundant Year Savory Latte," and is comprised of espresso and steamed milk, mixed with a pork-flavored sauce, then topped with MORE pork sauce, and finally a thin sliver of pork as a garnish.

Starbucks describes the flavor as "interesting" and "unexpected."

You can only get the drink in China so fair warning, if you ask the barista at the Starbucks down the street from your home for a pork coffee, they might look at you a little funny.
