Yesterday, the State Fair of Texas ended its 24-day run with about 2 million visitors, about 385,000 less than last year.

Since the start of the fair on September 26, videos and photos have circulated online of smaller crowds than we’ve all grown accustomed to seeing.

According to NBC DFW, the busiest day of this year’s State Fair of Texas was Saturday, October 11 during the Red River Rivalry game featuring the University of Texas and Oklahoma.
