You never know what kind of driver you will encounter on North Texas roads.  According to a new study from Triple-A, all of us fall into one of six categories: Safe, Speeding, Distracted, Distracted and Aggressive, the "Most Dangerous," and finally Impaired.

Unfortunately for all of us, only 41% consider ourselves "safe drivers."

According to the study, the most common dangerous behaviors were "speeding, distracted driving, and aggressive driving."

Dr. David Yang, AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety President and Executive Director, commented, "Despite acknowledging the dangers, some drivers continue to engage in potentially deadly behaviors, particularly speeding.

"Understanding the different types of risky driving behaviors and the characteristics of drivers who engage in them is crucial for developing targeted interventions to achieve safe mobility."

The full breakdown of the six categories of drivers is as follows:

-Safe Drivers (41.2%) -Speeding Drivers (22.7%) -Distracted and Aggressive Drivers (17.3%) -Distracted Drivers (15.0%) -Most Dangerous Drivers (2.4%) -Impaired Drivers (1.3%)
