This past Monday, some employees at a Taco Bell in Nashville, Tennessee wanted to hold their own Fourth of July celebration. Unfortunately, they decided the best place to do this was inside the actual restaurant.

As you can guess, this was an absolutely terrible idea.

The employees locked the restaurant to make sure no customers would come in, and proceeded to run around with fireworks in their hands. And of course, they went into the bathrooms and ignited some fireworks in the trash cans.

They decided the trash can idea was such a great success, they wanted to repeat the act in the main dining area. For safety reasons they ignited the fireworks and went outside and film the event with their phones.

But since they locked the doors to keep customers out, they couldn't get back in! They just had to stand there and watch as one of the fireworks ignited a full-on fire in the restaurant, and had to call in the fire department to put it out.

All in all, the fireworks stunt caused more than $30,000 in damage, and led to several arrests!

25-year-old Courtney Mayes was the shift leader at the time of the incident, and was placed under arrest on charges of felony aggravated arson.

Per ABC News, Nashville police say more arrests are likely to come over the next couple of days.
