Last night, did you happen to get woken up from your phone blaring a Blue Alert?
Don't worry, you're not the only one.
According to the Dallas Morning News, Blue Alerts are sent out to help track down people suspected of killing or seriously wounding a law enforcement officer, and millions of Texans received one last night after a sheriff's deputy near Houston was shot and wounded.
Not everyone appreciated being woken up with this emergency notification, though.
One person wrote on Reddit, "I don't know about y'all, but I am seriously considering disabling all emergency alerts on my phone after being woken up twice for a Blue Alert halfway across the state. I've already turned off Amber Alerts because of similar issues."
People also took to X, formerly Twitter, to vent their frustrations.
if y'all wake my ass up with a blue alert i'm gonna make y'all have to put out another one
