Not only are Texans having to deal with the constant threats of severe weather these days, the Breckenridge Fire Department issued a new warning for residents of the Lone Star State: swarms of bees attacks.
The fire department posted on Facebook that an attack Monday afternoon where deputies faced "very aggressive bee activity" and "a swarm of bees."
They tried to help a woman suffering heart problems after being stung multiple times. One firefighter even removed his protective gear to cover the woman more.
Unfortunately, as a result of the bee attack, one resident was taken to the hospital, and one passed away. The identity of the deceased has not been released.
Thankfully, no other injuries were reported as a result of the attack, according to NBC DFW.
