From the waters of Lake Tawakoni to being immortalized in the record books, two fishermen made the catch of a lifetime that could potentially leave them in Texas fishing lore.

The flathead catfish the pair secured weighed in at 98.7 pounds, which would be a record considering the men caught the fish while noodling.
