Police in Jacksonville, Texas are praising the quick-thinking of a hungry man turned "hangry" while waiting in the drive-thru line of a local Chick-fil-A.
A man suspected of driving a stolen vehicle was trying to flee the cops on foot when he found his way into the parking lot of the city's new Chick-fil-A. The suspect was maneuvering his way through vehicles parked in the drive-thru line when a customer opened his truck's door and smacked the suspect head on, stopping him in his tracks and allowing the police to apprehend him!
The Jacksonville Police Department wrote on Facebook, "The suspect was quickly apprehended after the 'HANGRY' (but helpful) citizen reminded the suspect as to why you should never run from the police."
One commenter also joked, "The guy in the truck said 'not in God's drive thru.'"
