Go ahead and have an extra serving at dinner, it's good for your health. New research has found the key to living a longer life is gradually packing on some weight as you get older.
According to Study Finds, researchers from The Ohio State University studied a town in Massachusetts for 70 years, and found that individuals who started their adult live at an average weight, and then slowly became overweight, lived longer than those who stayed at an average weight their entire lives.

Overweight is great? Packing on pounds later in life may actually help you live longer https://t.co/vyNKlzdg7S
The researchers did warn, however, to not eat too much and become obese, and that they aren't exactly sure why putting on a couple extra pounds will help keep you alive but that the "the impact of weight gain on mortality is complex."
