The "silhouette challenge" is a popular new trend on TikTok that involves an individual dancing erotically in a video with a red filter, disguising their bodies. Participants will often dance semi-nude or even completely naked because the filter makes them look like a shadow.
Well TikTok is warning anyone participating in the silhouette challenge that the filters can be removed, and whoever removes them can see all of your potentially naked body. Videos on how the filter have even been posted to Youtube.
A PSA warns that if you are still willing to participate in the silhouette challenge, be “cognizant of what you’re wearing before you do all the editing for the final product."
