A woman on TikTok named BreezyBre had to make an emergency trip to the hospital due to a potentially life-altering error.
BreezyBre mistakingly puts drops of nail glue in her eye after mistaking the bottle for one of eye drops!
She posted a video from the E.R. online, where doctors flushed out her eyes. She will end up being ok, but doctors have noticed an uptick in similar situations to that of BreezyBre.
Apparently, there's an epidemic of people not reading the label of whatever they're dropping into their eyes.
Dr. Richard Davidson, an ophthalmologist with UCHealth, told KUSA-TV, "It's amazing how many products look similar, and we can end up putting them in the eye by accident. Sometimes it's eye makeup glue, sometimes it's ear drops that are supposed to go in the ear and they go in the eye."
