What’s the phrase you always hear, “Celebrities are just like u,” right? Well you can think that all you want, but the rich and famous live lives completely different than our own.
Their worries, fears, and concerns about their day-to-days do not compare to the average person, and it takes a huge and powerful person like Taylor Swift for most of us to realize that.
At the Grammys this past Sunday, Swift was asked by Trevor Noah that since the Swifties were able to stand tall against Ticketmaster and start a real progression of change with the company, could her fans do the same for the price of eggs.
And a lot of people think that Swift look perplexed at the question, and her deadpanned response proves that she is completely “out of touch” with the regular world.
One person even invoked an infamous quote from Arrested Development:
Thankfully, current reports have shown egg prices have dropped as of late. CNBC says that that wholesale egg prices have dropped more than 50 per cent since peaking in December 2022, reaching $2.61 just a day after the Grammys.
Not sure if this is the work of the Swifties, but there’s really nothing they can’t accomplish.
