Hardy recently entered a Brazilian jiu-jitsu tournament, to the surprise and shock of everyone, in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and then went on to win his section outright!

The 2022 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Open Championship was organized by Ultimate Martial Arts Championships, and their spokesman told Yahoo! that Hardy is “a really nice guy.”

He added, “Everyone recognized him but he was very humble and was happy to take time out for people to take photographs with him. It was a real pleasure to have him compete at our event.”

Hardy started learning basic martial arts in 2011 while filming the movie Warrior, in which he played a marine-turned-fighter.

He has also trained in mixed martial arts and boxing.
