Beverly Hills 90210 star Tori Spelling was spotted in Los Angeles earlier this week rocking a bejeweled eye patch while walking down the street with her daughter.
Evidently, Spelling ignored the #1 rule of advice for every eye doctor across America.
In the latest installment of her podcast, Spelling explained that she slept in her contact lenses, and developed an ulcer on her eye necessitating the eye patch.
Spelling told co-host Jennie Garth, "I have contacts but I wear daily ones. So at the end of the day, kids, whatever, I can make all the excuses I want. I don't take them out. I sleep in them. It's not healthy, and you're supposed to change them."
Per PEOPLE, Spelling also revealed that though she didn't know exactly how long she had been wearing these contacts before developing the infection, she said she's "been known to go maybe 20 days [wearing them]."
