An absolutely insane video from the Yonkers Police Department in New York shows how the quick action from two Yonkers police officers saved a baby girl's life.
Security camera footage shows a car losing control, spinning out in the middle of the road and running into a woman before crashing into a barbershop just before 8 a.m. this past Friday morning.
Unfortunately, a baby ended up trapped underneath the vehicle after the crash.
Luckily, the quick-thinking of Officers Paul Samoyedny and Rocco Fusco, who happened to be next door at a bagel shop, led to a cohesive effort with good samaritans to lift the vehicle and rescue the child from under the vehicle.
According to Fox News, the baby suffered a scull fracture in the incident, and the baby's mother suffered compound leg fractures, though both are expected to fully recover.
The driver of the vehicle, 43-year-old David Poncurak, was arrested for driving under the influence and other charges.
