Meat by Linz, a family-owned butcher shop from Chicago recently commissioned a report to find out just how we all feel about our steaks.

Believe it or not, Americans are very particular about their steak.

According to StudyFinds, 70% of the 1,000 people surveyed consider themselves "meat-lovers," with steak being one of their favorite foods.

41% would be critical of anyone who orders or cooks a steak until it's well-done, and one in three Americans say they'd judge a date if they order their steak well-done.

And nearly two-thirds of Americans (64%) say they love steak so much, it would be their final meal.

As to what is America's favorite cut of steak?  The ribeye came in as the most popular (61%), followed by the filet (47%), and the T-bone (43%).
