On Saturday, the Cotton Bowl will host one of the state's most notable college football games: University of Texas versus Oklahoma University. Because DFW is roughly midway between Austin, TX and Norman, OK, the Red River Showdown is held at the State Fair of Texas in Dallas each year.
Oklahoma Department of Transportation posted a funny LED sign on Interstate 35 so folks making the trek would see it. Of course, they were cheering on the Sooners. Texas DOT got wind of it and Tweeted the perfect response.
