Adam Mazzeo is a US Army soldier currently stationed in California who recently traveled home to Rochester, New York to visit his mother.
The only thing is, he didn't tell her he was coming.
Mazzeo surprised his mother during the middle of her shift at Pixley's Restaurant and at first, she walked right on by him. Actually several times!
It wasn't until she actually approached his table, and HEARD HIS VOICE, that she finally recognized him! And then of course, hugs were had and tears were shed.
Adam originally posted the video on TikTok, where he said he hadn't seen his mother in eight months since deploying to California.
According to Yahoo!, Mazzeo is an active guard reservist stationed in Riverside, California.
