A man named Mike in Washington D.C. is apparently a cheater, and as such, had his car completely destroyed by someone seeking revenge. People in Northwest D.C. woke up to see the red SUV's windshields smashed, mirrors snapped, and a huge message spray painted on the side: "Mike is a cheater."
There was only one problem though: That wasn't Mike's car.
The Mitsubishi Outlander Sport belongs to Nedra Brantley, a veteran who definitely didn't cheat, and definitely isn't Mike.
She told NBC News, "I screamed. I'm surprised nobody in the neighborhood heard me, because I screamed so, so loud, because I didn't expect this would happen."
Brantley says she has no idea who "Mike" is, and is currently working with her insurance company while waiting for the police to make a break in the case.
