A Wells Fargo employee in Arizona sadly passed away at her desk Friday morning August 16. Unfortunately, her body wasn't found until four days later.
60-year-old Denise Prudhon scanned her card to enter the building at 7am on the 16th. Security on site reported a possible dead body in a cubicle on August 20th just before 5pm.
Wells Fargo employees told CNN that while most of the office works remotely, they were shocked Prudhorn's body wasn't discovered sooner as the building has a 24-hour security team.
Some employees even reported a foul smell in the office, but assumed it was faulty plumbing in the building.
In a statement, Wells Fargo spokesperson Ruben Pulido said: "We are deeply saddened by the loss of our colleague, Denise Prudhomme. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones, and we are in contact to ensure they are well supported during this difficult time."
