There are few things Texans appreciate more than tacos. Each week we have a day to solely celebrate the amazing delicacy.
If you are an admirer and appreciator of tacos, you might want to book a trip to Tijuana to visit the world's first museum dedicated to tacos!
The Museo del Taco opened earlier this year, and is a chance to "enjoy delicious samples of asada or al pastor tacos, while also offering a tour through different themed rooms that showcase how this dish is made," according to SanDiegoRed.com.
Museo del Taco features nine different interactive rooms celebrating all things tacos.
The museum's general director, Antonio Gamboa Bustamante, stated that he wanted to offer Tijuana natives something different, "a space where people can come together to enjoy and feel proud of being in the same city, in a same space."
Museo del Taco is open from 1 PM to 9 PM from Tuesday to Saturday and from 1 PM to 8 PM on Sundays and is available for school and tourist tours.
