Dr. Priscilla Frase of Ozarks Healthcare has seen more than one person in disguise as they got their shot, according to ABC News.
"I've had several people come in to get vaccinated who have sort of tried to disguise their appearance and even went so far as to say, 'Please, please, please don't let anybody know that I got this vaccine. I don't want my friends to know,'" Frase explained.
Missouri is in the top 15 states with the lowest vaccination rate. At the moment, they sit at 13, with only 40.9% of its population being fully vaccinated, 47.9% have received at least one shot, according to data from the Mayo Clinic.
Dr. Michael Osterholm, the Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota, shared earlier this month that the only way to combat the coronavirus pandemic was through vaccinations.
According to ABC News, the Ozarks Healthcare office in Missouri is now offering "private" spaces for patients to get their vaccination without being seen.
