If you've been thinking about learning a new language, classes will be starting soon at Upstate International, which offers 11 different languages you can learn: Portuguese, Greek, Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Spanish and Thai. They even offer classes in American Sign Language.
Classes meet either once or twice a week, beginning the week of June 10th and ending by mid August. Regular summer classes cost $65 for members and last eight weeks. There are also "intensive" classes that meet more often and are longer. Those cost $265 for members.
Annual membership in Upstate International is $50 per person or $75 for a family and is required for every student. Class size is limited to between 3 and 15 people and are held at Upstate International, 9 S. Memminger Street, Greenville.
