A website that tracks the livability of cities across the nation – aptly named Livability.com – has just put Greenville near the very top of its national rankings.
Coming in at number 10 on the list of the best place to live in the United States, Greenville was cited for its variety of outdoor recreational options, as well as the Greenville Zoo, Greenville Drive, and the downtown area as a whole.
The site also notes Greenville as an up and coming “major foodie city.”
“There’s no getting around it,” the site states, “Greenville is having a moment.”
More than 1,000 cities with populations between 20,000 and 1,000,000 were ranked on the list, which measured housing, economics, amenities, infrastructure, demographics, social and civic capital, education and health care.
Elsewhere in the Carolinas, Raleigh came in at the number 2 spot in the nation, while Ashville came in at 14th, Charlotte at 21st, Durham at 23rd and Greensboro at 51st.
