We're proud to announce that it's been yet another winning year for 106.3 WORD and Entercom in this year's South Carolina Broadcasters Association awards.
Entercom, the #1 creator of live, original, local audio content in the United States (that's how we like to think of it, at least) has been honored with fifteen South Carolina Broadcasters Association (SCBA) awards, including eight State Television and Radio (STAR) Awards and seven Awards of Merit.
The awards were presented at the SCBA’s STAR Awards Ceremony at the Columbia Conference Center in Columbia, SC on Saturday, August 17. ESPN Upstate (WYRD-AM), 93.3 The Planet (WTPT-FM), Classic Rock 101.1 (WROQ-FM), 106.3 WORD (WYRD-FM), and Magic 98.9 (WSPA-FM) each received first place in eight categories. “I’m very proud of our team for being recognized as the best in so many categories.
