Genesis Homes to Break Ground on New Affordable Housing in Nicholtown

WHY: City of Greenville elected officials and staff will join Genesis Homes and community leaders to celebrate another affordable housing development as Genesis Homes breaks ground for eight new rental units in the Nicholtown neighborhood. The City provided the land for the development and Genesis Homes received $1,391,221 from the South Carolina State Housing Finance and Development Authority for the construction of the three-bedroom, two-bath units. The fair market value of the land donated by the City is $125,550. Below is a breakdown of the Genesis Homes award.
