Nearly 6,500 pounds of ready to eat pork and turkey sausage patties are being recalled due to possible Salmonella contamination.
George's Prepared foods of Caryville Tennessee produced the patties in April and May and shipped nationwide.
The products being recalled include Great Value Fully Cooked Original Pork Sausage Patties and Breakfast Turkey Patties and also the Great Value Family Sized package of the Fully Cooked Original Pork Sausage Patties.
As of right now, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products according to the U-S-D-A website.
