Multiple arrests were made and citations and tickets were given in the Upstate this weekend in relation to the protests about George Floyd's death and the racial injustice which has plagued our nation since its birth.
While most of the arrests were of the protesters, at least one of the arrests were of people harassing the protesters.
Only one of the arrestees was from out of town, as marked below.
All other arrestees were citizens of the Upstate.
J.H. Thompson, Interim Greenville Police Chief, said at a press conference on Monday that very few issues were had during the organized protests.
Later in the evenings of Saturday and Sunday, there were some issues with people who were not a part of the organized groups or participating during the the allotted event times.
The leaders of the protests who were still present at the time attempted to help the police in dispersing the remaining people but were unable to get them to leave.

Saturday
Ashley Cole was arrested around 6 PM for assault and battery.
