Help ID Murder Suspects

Anderson Area Crime Stoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the individual or individuals responsible for two separate homicide cases currently under investigation by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office.
On the morning of December 28, 2019, Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to the 1400 block of W. Market Street in Anderson for a shooting incident. 
Stevie Lashun Anderson, 41, a patron of the establishment, was found to have been shot following an altercation.
Anderson was transported to AnMed Hospital where he later died as a result of his injuries.
A second, unrelated incident occurred on the morning of January 20, 2020 when the body of 18 year old Mericus Scott was discovered in a retention pond on Appleton Street.
It is believed that Scott was shot at another location and transported to the site of the old Appleton Mill where he was found by a nearby resident.
