Ingles Markets, Incorporated (NASDAQ: IMKTA) will deliver 1,080 eight oz cartons of chocolate milk to Furman University on Friday July 24th at 10 AM. The request for the donation came to Ingles this week to assist student athletes who returned to campus on Monday.
"As a longtime partner of Furman Athletics, Ingles is glad to assist with the milk needs for the players and staff," sad Melissa Leavel, Director of Advertising, Ingles Markets. "We're all excited to see the players return this week and extremely honored to help them get ready for both classes and football," said Leavell.
"Furman football student athletes arrived on campus this past Monday and right away began preparing for football practice," said Thomas Berryhill, General Manager, Furman University/Van Wagner.
A subsidiary of Ingles Markets, Milkco will distribute the milk through a local service to student athletes on Friday July 24th at 10 AM.
