The Highway Patrol reports there was fatal collision with a pedestrian on 85 SB in Spartanburg County just before 2:30 Thursday morning.
Master Trooper Gary Miller says the driver of a 2009 Cadillac CTS struck a pedestrian in the roadway near the 74 mile marker, Highway 9 in Boiling Springs.
The driver was not injured, but the pedestrian died at the scene.
The victim's name has not yet been released. That collision remains under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
