SLED is investigating following a Sunday night officer-involved shooting in Gray Court.
According to news outlets, Laurens County Sheriff's Office deputies and a suspect exchanged gunfire, but no injuries have been reported.
During the incident, Highway 14 was blocked off from Ropp Street to Cook Street.
A Facebook post for the LCSO reports the suspect was taken into custody and first taken to a hospital to be checked out.
The post further said he will be booked into the Laurens County Detention Center following his evaluation at the hospital.
