Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 39 year-old, Nicholas Galipeau with ten counts of Breach of Trust for stealing thousands of dollars from various Home Owners Associations in the Upstate.

The investigation began on October 1st, after the Stonehaven housing community reported missing HOA funds that Galipeau was entrusted to manage as the owner of Commercial Management Company, LLC.


During the the course of the investigation, investigators learned that Galipeau had stolen funds over the past three years from ten separate communities in the Upstate, amounting to over $700,000. 

Galipeau turned himself in on Wednesday and received a $20,000 bond.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office reported the ten communities effected include:

Simpsonville's Stonehaven, Briar Oaks, Morning Mist and Dunwoody Oaks communities.

Piedmont's Triple Creek and Arbor Woods communities.

Traveler's Rest The Ridge at Sunset.

Greer's Hartwood Lake.

Duncan's Peachtree Park.

Boiling Springs Bexley Park.
