In a tweet Wednesday afternoon, Governor Henry McMaster asked that people traveling into the state self quarantine themselves for two weeks.
The tweet from the Governor just before 2 p.m. reads, “Today I am requesting all out of state visitors to South Carolina planning a stay of two or more nights self quarantine for two weeks immediately upon arrival.”
This request came just before DHEC reported 82 more cases of COVID-19 in South Carolina, bringing the total for the state to 424. 50 of these cases are reported in Greenville.
Two more deaths from the disease were also reported in the state, bringing the total to seven.
