The murder suspect, Tito Edmar Garcia-Flores, wanted for the May 31st shooting death of Edras Funez, at 1206 W. Parker Road, has been arrested.
Last Friday, July 10th, Officers with the Kansas City Police Department arrested Flores in Kansas City, Missouri. Flores remains in the custody of the Kansas City Police Department and is currently awaiting extradition.
The success of this arrest was initiated from our deputies receiving a tip through Crime Stoppers regarding his whereabouts. After deputies passed along the information to the local authorities, they were able to locate and arrest Flores without incident.
This case is ongoing as investigators work to identify any other suspects involved.
