
The Oconee County Sheriff's Office is asking for help from the public in its investigation of a larceny of a phone from a convenience store in Seneca.
The Sheriff's office is also seeking help in identifying the suspect in the theft of the phone.
A deputy responded to cell phone larceny Saturday, February 1st in the afternoon at the 7-Eleven on Highway 123.
The deputy was told the phone was left on the counter and that it was later missing. Evidence shows that someone left with the phone.
Surveillance video identifies the suspect as a white male with a full beard and multiple tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a camouflage and black baseball cap, a blue tee-shirt, a yellow safety vest, jeans and work boots. He also had a white towel around his neck.
