Governor Henry McMaster has ordered that all restaurants and bars close their dine-in services starting Wednesday.
This was announced at a press conference Tuesday afternoon in an attempt to halt the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
Mayor Knox White announced the same thing for the city of Greenville earlier on Tuesday, and many restaurants have already been doing so since earlier this week.
Delivery and take-out options will still remain available.
This decision was made after being much conversation, including with the director of the South Carolina Restaurant Association.
