A Roebuck teenager has been charged following a threatening post mentioning Dorman High School.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office reports the post was first seen on 4chan.org and later on Twitter.

The photo showed a man taking a mirror selfie and holding a rifle; it was captioned "Dorman High School South Carolina, Tomorrow 10 am, So long robots."

Investigation led to a former Dorman High School student, 19-year-old Hunter Gilbert.

Gilbert admitted he posted the photo but was not the person in the photo; the man in the picture was a friend who was unaware of the post.

Weapons were found in Gilbert's home.

Gilbert said he posted the photo to "see what reaction he would get.”

He has been charged with school/nonstudent interfering, disrupting or disturbing schools.

His bond was set at $5,000.
