
The Union County Sheriff's Office is seeking assistance in locating a bank robbery suspect.
The robbery happened at Arthur State Bank on Lockhart Highway just after 2:30 PM on September 10th.
Sheriff David Taylor described the suspect as a man approximately 5’11” and 220 pounds.
He was wearing a teal shirt, khaki pants, tennis shoes, a black hat and sunglasses.
He wielded a large butcher knife during the robbery.
Bloodhounds searched a perimeter set up by deputies.
They did not find the suspect but did located an undisclosed amount of money.
A nearby school was placed on lockdown until deputies determined the area was safe.
