On Sunday night, a police chase in Anderson county ends with a fatal accident on Cherokee Road.
The Anderson County Sheriff's Office was attempting to stop the fleeing driver for a traffic violation.
Authorities say the car was driving south on Cherokee Road when it veered off the road and hit a tree.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene and was not wearing a seatbelt.
The coroner's office have not released the identity of the driver at this time.
