The Greenville County Sheriff's Office has found Kenny Newell. Kenny Newell, has been located and is safe. Kenny was located this morning at around 7:45am by a school bus driver who was on their route and recognized him from a media release. Kenny was located near Lakeside and Stables Road on his bike. The Greenville County Sheriff's Office issued the following press release Monday.
Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are searching for a missing child, identified as 11 year-old, Kenny Levern Newell.
Kenny was last seen yesterday afternoon, at around 6:40pm, leaving his residence on Rosalee Drive, riding a bicycle. He was last seen wearing a red polo shirt, black pants and green Converse shoes. He is described as a black male, 4’7, 70lbs.
Deputies were called around midnight and initiated a search with the assistance of K-9’s, however they were unsuccessful. We ask for anyone who has knowledge of Kenny’s whereabouts to call 911 immediately.
