The Greenville County Sheriff's Office issued the following press release Friday morning.
Sheriff’s Office investigators are currently conducting 2 separate death investigations.
The first investigation is at 663 Rutherford Rd at Azalea Place Apts. Investigators are on scene with an adult male victim who is deceased in a vehicle. The victim has suffered at least one gunshot wound. This call was received at 1216am by Greenville City Police.
The second investigation is at North Greenville Hospital in Travelers Rest and this call was received at 1227am. An adult male was brought to this location ,via personal vehicle ,suffering from at least one gunshot wound and is also deceased.
Deputies have located a shooting crime scene at the Piney Mountain Park located at 510 Worley Road.
At this time, investigators cannot confirm that the two deaths, nor the crime scene are related. We ask that if anyone has any information concerning these incidents, to call CrimeStoppers at 23-Crime.
