Greenville County Schools Spokesperson Beth Brotherton issued a statement:
Yesterday afternoon Riverside High School administrators were made aware of a snapchat post threatening violence against "RHS." Riverside High School was not specifically mentioned, but law enforcement was immediately notified because we take every potential threat seriously. Greer police investigated and determined the post did not represent a valid threat against the school, but as a precaution we have additional district personnel and law enforcement on campus today.
