Willie Nelson has announced he will no longer be stopping in Greenville, or at any of his planned dates on his most recent tour, citing health issues.
The 86-year-old country music icon said in a tweet that he was suffering from a breathing problem.
“To my fans, I’m sorry to cancel my tour, but I have a breathing problem that I need to have my doctor check out. I’ll be back. Love, Willie,” he tweeted.
So far Bon Secours has not officially announced the cancellation – tickets are still on sale as of this afternoon.
Willie Nelson was set to play alongside Alison Krauss on August 16th.
Still no word on refunds or whether a rain-check show will take place down the line.
